The Light Visions Tarot is a highly imaginative work of art that follows classic tarot symbolism with a fresh modern approach. It’s a timeless deck that takes cues from impressionistic surreal styles of the past, enchanting imagery of the present and clairvoyant visions of the future. Softer in feel than the Prisma Visions, the Light Visions Tarot has an old-fashioned atmosphere and muted tones, (though the illustrations themselves are very similar.)

One of the most special and unique features of this deck is the minor arcana. When placed in order, the 14 cards of each suit create a panoramic story, a single image spanning the entire suit. These very high-quality cards also have flashing gold edges.

This deck is a unique and whimsical play on the classic tarot deck and features hand-drawn highly detailed cards. Despite the small frame of the cards, each was executed on such a large scale that the cards have developed into individual works of art. The Light Visions Tarot deck combines both borderless and bordered cards into one cohesive and enchanting work of art.

This is a high-quality 79 card deck complete with a small yet detailed 100-page guidebook, presented in a sturdy flip-top box with gold detailing. It makes a wonderful partner for the Prisma Visions Tarot, and is a must for collectors!

The big new change with the Third Edition is the Soft Matte Finish on the cards, a nod at the original first edition of Light Visions. It feels buttery smooth to the touch and complements the duo-tone aesthetic of the deck. The gilding is no longer mirror gold but a brilliant matte gold.

The Cards are approximately 2.75″ x 4.75″ and all share identical backs. They are two toned deep purple and a light cream color. The cards are printed with the highest quality inks on durable soft matte cardstock and edged with gold gilding.
The Booklet is also 2.75″ x 4.75″, about 100 pages with a short introduction. The bulk of the guide explores the imagery of each card and their associated meanings, beautifully written by Katherine Tombs.
The Box is a one piece flip top clam shell box. It is constructed with 1/8″ thick cardboard and is printed with a matte finish. It has custom gold stamping on the face of the box.
Like the Prisma Visions Tarot, this edition has a unique 79th card.

De Light Visions Tarot is een zeer fantasierijk kunstwerk dat de klassieke tarotsymboliek volgt met een frisse, moderne benadering. Het is een tijdloos deck dat geïnspireerd is op impressionistische surrealistische stijlen uit het verleden, betoverende beelden van het heden en helderziende visies op de toekomst. De Light Visions Tarot voelt zachter aan dan de Prisma Visions en heeft een ouderwetse sfeer en gedempte tonen (hoewel de illustraties zelf erg op elkaar lijken.)

Een van de meest bijzondere en unieke kenmerken van dit deck is de kleine arcana. Wanneer ze op volgorde worden geplaatst, creëren de 14 kaarten van elke reeks een panoramisch verhaal, een enkele afbeelding die de hele reeks overspant. Deze zeer hoogwaardige kaarten hebben ook flitsende gouden randen.

De kaarten zijn ongeveer 2,75 "x 4,75" en hebben allemaal dezelfde achterkant. Ze zijn tweekleurig diep paars en een lichte crèmekleur. De kaarten zijn bedrukt met de hoogste kwaliteit inkt op duurzaam zacht mat karton en afgezet met goud verguldsel.
Het boekje is ook 2,75 "x 4,75", ongeveer 100 pagina's met een korte introductie. Het grootste deel van de gids verkent de afbeeldingen van elke kaart en de bijbehorende betekenissen, prachtig geschreven door Katherine Tombs.
De Box is een uit één stuk bestaande clam shell-doos met klep. Het is gemaakt van 1/8 "dik karton en is bedrukt met een matte afwerking. Het heeft een aangepaste gouden stempel op de voorkant van de doos.
Net als de Prisma Visions Tarot heeft deze editie een unieke 79e kaart.
